What is the Florida Fruit Festival?
The FFF is a 4-day raw vegan eco-friendly health consious festival in celebration of fruit.
What kind of food is at the FFF?
All the fruit served at the festival is Florida grown, locally grown within a 100 mile radious of the festival with the exception of Watermelons which do not grow in Southeast Florida in August. Most of the fruit is sourced from local farms withing a 5 mile radious of the venue.
Is the FFF eco-friendly?
YES!!! The FFF is committed to zero waste, free of disposable products including single use plastic and free of synthetic chemicals. We only use natural biodegradable products for cleaning, and all organic matter is composted on site, and all the fruit is Florida grown and within a 100 mile radious of the venue – with the exception of watermelon which does not grow in Southeast Florida in August. We do our best to minimize our environmental footprint – even the name tags are natural:)))
What accommodations are available?
Festival goers are welcome to camp under the stars at Swank Farm. There are outdoor showers, sinks and toilets for your use. All you need to bring is your tent and personal belongings. Remember, all toiletries must be natural, organic, and biodegradable. Alternatively, check AirBB and local hotels in the nearby areas including Loxahatchee, Wellington and West Palm Beach.
What should I bring?
Weatherwise, in August it is hot and humid here in Southeast Florida with daily tropical rainstorms – so bring light comfortable clothing, sun hat, sunglasses, swim suit, towels for beach and showers, sunscreen and an umbrella. Campers must bring a tent or hammock, towel, flashlight, natural, organic, and biodegradable toiletries. If you have your own travel ware – utensils, cloth napkins, water bottles, bowls and reusable straws feel free to bring them! Otherwise you can purchase them at the festival so do bring along cash for there will be vendors selling amazing products and services.
Can I come for just one day?
Yes! Day tickets are available for purchase. The price varies depending on what day you would like to attend. With a single day ticket you can arrive as early as 6amfor the beach shuttle and depart at 10pm after the evening drum circle and closing meditation.
Are dogs allowed?
If your dog is friendly and enjoys the company of many people and possibly other dogs, then yes! Please let us know in advance so we have an idea of how many 4 legged friends will be attending.
How do I get to the FFF?
The FFF takes place at Swank Farm, a 20 acre farm in Loxahatchee, FL. If you are driving the venue is just 20 minutes west of the Florida Turnpike; 35 minutes west of I-95. for map of venue visit www.swankspecialtyproduce.com
If you are flying or taking train, there is a free shuttle service from PBI (Palm Beach International Airport) and WPB tri-rail station. If you require shuttle service you must let us know so we can make necessary arrangements.
